Ceremonial Duties Office

The Tweede Kamer receives many guests, both from the Netherlands and abroad. Guests can be chairpersons of other parliaments and delegations of MP’s as well as leaders of government, members of the Royal Family and EC commissioners. These guests are welcomed by the speaker of the House, the Presidium or a standing committee. The Ceremonial Duties Office advises on matters regarding the reception and ensures that everything passes off as desired.
