Employees of the Tweede Kamer are expected to be flexible; when the Tweede Kamer has a session until 3 o’clock in the morning, the last civil servant will go home at around 4 o‘clock. Many employees feel strongly committed to the Tweede Kamer and are proud to work here. It is not exceptional that someone celebrates his 25th anniversary. The Tweede Kamer thinks it is important that her employees take pleasure in their work. The Human Resources Management Office pays attention to the Dutch Occupational Health an Safety Act, conditions of employment, the policy on absenteeism and career policies.
