Information Unit

Nowadays, it is more more important than ever to find information quickly. The Tweede Kamer deals with many kinds of documents - schedules, parliamentary reports, notes, letters from the government, definitions of laws, and so on. The Information and Technology Department, Communications Department, Department of Information Services and the Parliamentary Reporting Office cooperate actively to open up the parliamentary process in an accessible way; to the members as well as to anyone who is interested in the Tweede Kamer. Means of communication such as internet and intranet play an important part in this.

Since January 1st 2006, Peter Branger is general manager of the Information Unit.
