More information on the temporary committee on ICT

The Temporary Committee on ICT projects has been commissioned to carry out a parliamentary investigation into government ICT projects. The government often fails to get its ICT projects fixed. The committee's aim is to identify what went wrong and what did go well, and why. The committee has presented its final report to the House on Wednesday 15 October 2014.

Concise time schedule:

  • As of early 2012: preparation of the investigation.
  • Mid 2012: installation of the temporary committee.
  • Autumn 2013: completion of the external investigation and opening of the in-depth investigation.
  • First half of 2014: completion of the in-depth investigation and start of hearings.
  • Second half of 2014: presentation of the final report by the temporary committee and plenary debate.
