Commemoration at the National East Indies monument 1945-1962

On Monday 7 September, the House of Representatives will lay a wreath at the National East Indies monument in Roermond. On behalf of the House of Representatives, Ms. Aasted-Madsen-van Stiphout, Member of Parliament of the Christian Democratic Appeal, will lay a wreath at the memorial.

During the commemoration veterans and surviving relatives honour the fallen soldiers who served the Dutch armed forces (1945-1962) in the former Dutch East Indies and New Guinea.
