Controversial issues

On Thursday 11 March, the House of Representatives adopted the list of controversial issues. Debates about these issues are postponed until after the June 9 general elections, when a new cabinet has taken office.
Although the list has been adopted, political parties and committees can still make changes by proposing amendments.

Selection of controversial issues by standing committees
In the week of March 1st, the various standing committees of the House of Representatives gathered in order to draw up a list of controversial topics. In order to establish a list, the committees considered the subjects already on the agenda of the House, such as bills and policy documents, and the general debates with the government that had already been scheduled.
