Communications Department

The Tweede Kamer almost daily appears in the media. Although most people follow the debates, not many know exactly how the Tweede Kamer functions. Which tasks and authorities does the Tweede Kamer have and how do meetings proceed? It is the Communications Department's responsibility to show how the Tweede Kamer functions. Internet is one of the means of communication for this purpose, but the department also organizes guided tours, exhibitions, brochures and advises on projects aimed to improve the information service for civilians. In addition, the Communication Department is responsible for internal communication, by means of the Tweede Kamer and the in house magazine Kamerbode.
