What does this MP stand for?

Three questions for Björn Schutz.

1. What drives you to serve as an MP?

As a MP from Zeeland, I want to strengthen the connection between the more peripheral parts of the country and the central government. I think many of our major challenges require cooperation between national and regional levels, such as nitrogen, grid congestion and housing shortages.

2. What would you change about the Netherlands?

I want us to focus more on the actual problems and work together to solve them.

3. Who inspires you?

Nelson Mandela. I was a student in South Africa during the first free elections there. The social transformation I witnessed made a deep impression. I saw fear make way for hope.
