A delegation from the committee for Foreign Trade and  Development Cooperation visited  Tanzania and Ethiopia from August 17 until August 26. During the visit the committee gathered information about development cooperation as well as (bilateral) trade relations and investment  opportunities in both countries. In Tanzania the committee had a focus on the trade relations and in Ethiopia on the development cooperation.

In both capitals  - Dar Es Salaam and Addis Abeba – the delegation met with politicians and representatives of international organisations, NGO’s and the commercial world. Field visits to commercial companies and development projects were also part of the programme, in both capitals as well as in the Arusha area  (Tanzania) and Ginchi/Woliso/Tulubolo (Ethiopië).
