Debate about European summit

Tuesday July 2, the House discussed the results of the EU-summit in Brussels on June 27 and 28.

Tuesday July 2 the House has discussed the results of the European Summit in Brussels on June 27 and 28 with prime minister Mark Rutte.  Until recently it was common use to have a debate on the eve of every European Summit. This spring the House decided to schedule also a meeting afterwards to discuss the outcome of the Summit. It is also common use in the Dutch House of Parliament to debate with individual ministers before they have a meeting with their EU -colleagues.
