The position of Dutch banks in the financial offshore markets
Publications about the role of Dutch banks in financial offshore markets will be discussed in the House on Tuesday.
Recently a group of European newspapers got hold of specific information about the financial offshore markets. This resulted in publications about companies, organisations and individuals who had offshore accounts in places like the Cayman islands in order to profit from attractive tax agreements or to evade taxes. In this publications the Dutch banks ING and ABN Amro were mentioned. The House will discuss their position with the minister ff Finance, Jeroen Dijsselbloem on Tuesday June 18.
