Visit to China
Nine members of the standing committee for foreign affairs visit the People’s Republic of China during the May recess.
The Dutch parliamentary delegation visits Beijing and Shanghai. Main topics of discussion will be the political, economic and social developments in China. Other matters that will be discussed are the bilateral relations between China and The Netherlands and the position of China in the world. The members of the Dutch House of Representatives were invited by the committee for foreign affairs of the National People’s Congress of China. A delegation of the People’s Congress visited The Netherlands in May 2012. The last visit of a Dutch delegation to China was in April 2001.
