Building advice committee

The Construction Supervision Committee advises the Presidium on matters concerning the premises of the House. In 2015, the Presidium re-established this committee in view of the renovation of the House of Representatives building in the Binnenhof. The committee advises the Presidium from the perspective of all 1,500 people working in the House of Representatives. The committee is made up of MPs and representatives from the parliamentary groups and the House's administrative body.

The Construction Supervision Committee meets on a regular basis and committee reports are made public. Political oversight of the renovation of the Binnenhof building complex is carried out by the Standing Committee on the Interior, which regularly consults with the cabinet member responsible for the renovation of the Binnenhof.
