Interparliamentary Committee on the Dutch Language Union
The Union for the Dutch Language (Taalunie) is a policy organisation in which the Netherlands and Flanders collaborate in the field of the Dutch language. Suriname has been an associate member of the Taalunie since 2004. The Taalunie was established in 1980 to strengthen the Dutch language and focuses on education in and of Dutch within and outside the language area, Dutch literature and culture.

The IPC consists of members of the Flemish Parliament and members of both Houses of the States General, the Dutch Parliament.
