Finance

The Standing Committee on Finance deals with subjects for which the Minister of Finance or the State Secretary of Finance is primarily responsible. These subjects can be broken down roughly into financial matters, which are the responsibility of the minister, and tax matters, for which the state secretary is responsible. Key issues are the national budget and supervision of the financial markets. Tax matters include the annual Tax Plan.
