Infrastructure and Water Management

Ensuring adequate transport links and a clean, healthy living environment in a busy country like the Netherlands requires hard work. These subjects come together in the Standing Committee on Infrastructure and Water Management. The committee regularly consults with the Minister and the State Secretary of Infrastructure and Water Management. Key questions are: How can we create a clean, healthy living environment for people? How can people and goods travel from A to B as quickly, safely and sustainably as possible over land, water and air? What is needed to protect the Netherlands from future flooding, while simultaneously ensuring the sufficient supply of clean drinking water? The committee also hears from stakeholders in the field by organising round-table talks and going on working visits.
