1. What drives you to serve as an MP?
I worked in healthcare for 25 years. The decentralisation of the Dutch healthcare sector in 2015 had a major impact on healthcare staff. I later became chairperson of my group in the municipal council of Purmerend and now I am politically active at the national level.
2. What would you change about the Netherlands?
I want to be there for everyone: for older people, for younger people and for those who depend on care. I want to work for a better country.
3. Who inspires you?
People who cannot stand up for themselves.
