On Wednesday 6 June, the island councils of the Caribbean islands of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius en Saba (the BES-islands) visited the House of Representatives.
On Wednesday 6 June, the island councils of the Caribbean islands of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius en Saba (the BES-islands) visited the House of Representatives. The delegations had an informal meeting with the President of the Dutch House of Representatives, ms Gerdi Verbeet. They also met with members of the Committee on the Interior.
BES-islands
On 10 October 2010 the constitution of the Kingdom of the Netherlands changed. The Netherlands Antilles was dissolved. Since then the islands of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius en Saba (BES) form part of the Netherlands.
