Mr Henk Kamp (VVD) and Mr Wouter Bos (PvdA) Cabinet informateurs

The House of Representatives adopted a motion giving Mr Henk Kamp (VVD) and Mr. Wouter Bos (PvdA) the assignment to explore the possibilities of forming a sound and stable Cabinet, consisting of VVD and PvdA ministers and state secretaries.

On 20 September 2012, after the plenary debate on the election result, the House of Representatives adopted a motion giving Mr Henk Kamp (VVD) and Mr. Wouter Bos (PvdA) the assignment -- with a view to the financial and economic situation and the budget for 2013 -- to explore the possibilities of forming a sound and stable Cabinet, consisting of VVD and PvdA ministers and state secretaries.

Prime Minister Mark Rutte's liberal VVD (People's Party for Freedom and Democracy) won the 2012 election for the House of Representatives. The close runner up was Mr Diederik Samsom's labour party PvdA. VVD and PvdA together have a workable majority in the House of Representatives.
