Conference in Vilnius about agricultural policy

Two members of the Dutch Parliament attended a Meeting of chairmen of parliamentary Committees  on issues of reform of common agricultural policy in Vilnius, Lithuania.

On July 21 and 22 two members of the Dutch Parliament attended a conference in Vilnius, Lithuania,  on issues of reform of common agricultural policy. Lithuania holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union from July 2013 until January 2014. One of the main issues during the conference was the position of small farmers. The Dutch Parliament was represented by mr. Mark Verheyen, deputy chairman of the committee for Economic  Affairs of the House of Representatives, and ms. Janny Vlietstra, deputy chairman of the committee  for Economic  Affairs of the Senate.
