Biography

“Putting Dutch people first”

It is very important to put people first. It is also an entirely normal impulse, because you have to take care of yourself before you can take care of others. That is why the PVV is my party.

Peace of mind

I am from Enschede, in the beautiful region of Twente. I have a background in IT and have been with the PVV for years. Before becoming an MP, I was a member of the provincial council, municipal councillor, and policy officer. I entered politics because I saw that my community was taking a turn for the worse, and my natural response was a desire to help.

Unaffordable groceries

My main goal is to give Dutch people some more peace of mind. To make that happen, we will need to curb migration and put Dutch people first. At the same time, we have to make life more affordable, with even groceries costing an arm and a leg nowadays. I am also a staunch believer in fewer rules: the government should not interfere with people’s lives.

Life is politics

Being an MP means making sacrifices. It is an honourable job and it needs to be done properly. As a representative of the people, politics are your life and hobbies come second. I play tennis every now and again and try to free up time for exercise, but it is still a matter of setting the right priorities.
