What does this MP stand for?
Three questions for Habtamu de Hoop.
1. What drives you to serve as an MP?
I have been lucky enough to have had many opportunities in life. I want others to have the same. My generation is struggling and has fewer chances than the generation before it. There has to be a better way, and I want to work to make that change for young people.
2. What would you change about the Netherlands?
Above all, everyone needs access to an affordable home. Home is the foundation for building your life, a place where you can feel safe. I want that for everyone.
3. Who inspires you?
The young people who take to the streets every day, whether to fight the climate crisis, draw attention to genocide around the world or demand affordable homes. I want to make a difference for the young people who let themselves be heard.
