What does this MP stand for?

Three questions for Hilde Wendel.

1. What drives you to serve as an MP?

I come from a village where people work hard and also keep the community going, whether it is by training the local football team, manning the bar at the tennis club or by organising the village fête. They may not think much about politics, but politics affects them. I want to give them a voice in the House of Representatives.

2. What would you change about the Netherlands?

I want to work to make the country safer. Everyone should be safe on the street and at home.

3. Who inspires you?

My grandmother. She taught me to work hard and never let others hold you back.
