Biography

“Improving Dutch policy”

Since March 2011, I have represented the PVV as a provincial councillor for Overijssel, before campaigning as a PVV municipal councillor in Hengelo after the party’s 2018 expansion.

Champion for farmers

Besides my drive to ensure that my three daughters and two granddaughters get to grow up and live in freedom just like I did, I have been a champion for the agricultural sector for years. It is very important that agricultural business owners are given room to develop and earn a good living and policy-makers should listen closely to real-life experiences when drawing up farming policy.

Ambassador for Overijssel

I am MP for all Dutch people, but as a daughter of Twente, I am and will always be an ambassador for Twente and Overijssel.
