I want this country to be a good place for everyone. I want my son to love whoever he chooses and my daughter to walk the streets safely.
2. What would you change about the Netherlands?
Everyone must be aware of the norms and values that apply here. That means acting immediately when they are violated and being clear about the rules to all newcomers.
3. Who inspires you?
The murder of Pim Fortuyn made a deep impression on me when I was young. It is incomprehensible that he was killed for his ideals. That event propelled me into politics.
