What does this MP stand for?
Three questions for Daan de Kort.
1. What drives you to serve as an MP?
As a person with a visual impairment, I have experienced institutions trying to decide how I should live. I believe everyone should be able to make their own choices.
2. What would you change about the Netherlands?
I want fairer opportunities so everyone can develop their talents. There are too many barriers at the moment, and I want to remove them.
3. Who inspires you?
Theatre-maker Jaap Bressers. He has a spinal cord injury but, like me, always looks on the bright side.
