1. What drives you to serve as an MP?
From my background as a community nurse, I want to help improve healthcare. I know there are many rules that get in the way. We can work together more effectively and strengthen prevention.
2. What would you change about the Netherlands?
I would like us to be optimistic about the future again, to keep talking to one another and to show generosity. And politicians should lead the way.
3. Who inspires you?
Els Borst. She laid the foundations for many of the country’s medical ethical achievements. Her work made a real difference in people’s lives and we must cherish her legacy.
