1. What drives you to serve as an MP?
Standing up for people who go unheard far too often. DENK stands firm against the far right and stands up for minorities, for justice and for livelihood security. We give a voice to the people who are most affected by injustice and inequality in our society.
2. What would you change about the Netherlands?
It should not matter where you come from or what religion you follow. Everyone should have equal opportunities and be able to feel at home, whatever their background or beliefs.
3. Who inspires you?
My father. He passed away, but I still notice how much I learned from him. He taught me what patience is, that some results take time to materialise, and that you must always be honest and hold on to what is right. He showed me that honesty and integrity pay.
