What does this MP stand for?

Three questions for Maarten Goudzwaard.

1. What drives you to serve as an MP?

I want to build a better country together. As an MP, you're closest to the action and have the greatest influence. I hope that, despite party differences, we still manage to work together. You have to be willing to compromise and be open to crossing the political divide. Investing in personal relationships is important to me.

2. What would you change about the Netherlands?

I hope we can lift the country out of the current nitrogen deadlock as soon as possible and move quickly towards more nuclear energy.

3. Who inspires you?

I entered politics because of Pim Fortuyn. By making politics tangible, lively and concrete, he was the reason for my political awakening.
