What does this MP stand for?

Three questions for Daniel van den Berg.

1. What drives you to serve as an MP?

Serving the Dutch people. It is what I did as a military police officer and what I do now in the House of Representatives. I want to make the Netherlands safer, more prosperous and fairer.

2. What would you change about the Netherlands?

I want energy to be affordable and reliable, through nuclear power and a grid that can support it. I want to build large and small reactors faster and more realistically, with an energy approach that aligns production with demand. Fewer fantasies and more certainty will benefit our purchasing power, jobs and strategic autonomy.

3. Who inspires you?

Pim Fortuyn. When I was 10, his message about a smaller, accessible and reliable government for ordinary people made a deep impression. All the choices I have made in my life since then have been based on that principle.
