1. What drives you to serve as an MP?
In 2010, I started my own bakery in Zwolle. That experience as an entrepreneur eventually led me into politics, so I could stand up for all business owners in the country.
2. What would you change about the Netherlands?
Running a business should be enjoyable again. If it were up to me, there would be far fewer rules and we would show more trust in entrepreneurs.
3. Who inspires you?
All the hard-working business owners in the country, precisely because I used to be one myself. They take risks and are there for their company day and night.
