What does this MP stand for?

Three questions for Henk-Jan Oosterhuis.

1. What drives you to serve as an MP?

After years of political bickering and shouting matches, I want to help move the country forward again. Major issues such as the shortage of affordable homes and nitrogen policy need real solutions, and I want to play a part in finding them.

2. What would you change about the Netherlands?

The country is already a wonderful place, but it can be better. I want us to build a sustainable and future-proof economy. And I want everyone to have the freedom to be themselves, regardless of origin, skin colour, faith or who they love.

3. Who inspires you?

First of all, my children. We are responsible for their generation’s future. And adults can learn a lot from the way children treat each other. I am also inspired by scientists and innovative entrepreneurs, who often come up with creative solutions to social problems.
