What does this MP stand for?

Three questions for Renate den Hollander.

1. What drives you to serve as an MP?

After many years as a councillor and alderman working for the Drenthe region, I want to represent everyone in the country from The Hague, with particular focus on the people of Drenthe.

2. What would you change about the Netherlands?

I want the country to remain safe and a pleasant place to live. We need to balance nature, agriculture, housing and the economy. I want to help resolve the housing crisis, find a way out of the nitrogen impasse and restore trust in politics.

3. Who inspires you?

Thorbecke, the founder of Dutch democracy.
