I feel responsible for our country. The Netherlands is a beautiful country, but it could be much better. I hope to contribute to that.
2. What would you change about the Netherlands?
We have to put our country first. The influx of people must be reduced and groceries must become affordable again. I also want a fundamental reform of the tax system. People should have more say in how they spend their money.
3. Who inspires you?
Bruce Springsteen inspires me to never give up. His songs are about the gap between the American dream and reality, and I work in a similar space as a representative. Margaret Thatcher is my political inspiration: I love the notion of an ultra-feminist in a conservative environment.
