The House will debate a citizens’s initiative on Wednesday June 12. Subject is a plea for sanctions against Israel as a protest against the construction of a wall on the borders of Palestinian territory. The initiative will be presented by former prime minister Dries van Agt.
The House will pay attention to the situation in Syria with an expert meeting on EU-sanctions on Wednesday and a debate on Thursday about the arms embargo.
Mr. Olli Rehn, European Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs en the Euro, visits the House on Tuesday June 11.
