On Thursday June 13 the committees for Finance and for European Affairs will debate about Ecofin and the Eurogroup.
House debates citizens’ initiative
The House will debate a citizens’s initiative on Wednesday June 12. Subject is a plea for sanctions against Israel as a protest against the construction of a wall on the borders of Palestinian territory. The initiative will be presented by former prime minister Dries van Agt.

The House will pay attention to the situation in Syria with an expert meeting on EU-sanctions on Wednesday and a debate on Thursday about the arms embargo.

The President of the Senate, mr Fred de Graaf, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, ms Anouchka van Miltenburg, have launched the joint website www.staten-generaal.nl.
The temporary committee on house prices has presented its final report and launched a website
On Wednesday 10 April the temporary committee on house prices presented its final report. The committee has carried out an investigation into twenty years of rising property prices in the Netherlands and five years of falling prices.
House of Representatives disapproves of EU railway package
The House has adopted a motion put forward by Mr Duco Hoogland MP (Labour Party, PvdA) expressing disapproval of  the fourth EU railway package.
Visit to China
