What does this MP stand for?
Three questions for Suzanne Kröger.
1. What drives you to serve as an MP?
I want to work with as many people as possible, across the country, on a greener and fairer world. Trust in politics is low, but we can restore it by supporting citizens' initiatives and by joining forces with people who are active in their communities.
2. What would you change about the Netherlands?
We need to take better care of nature and of each other and, from a sense of solidarity, help the country thrive. Government should work side by side with active citizens to tackle the big challenges we face.
3. Who inspires you?
My great great grandmother, Mathilde Wibaut. She campaigned for women's suffrage at a time when it was very new for women to be politically active. Even today, women in politics still have a hard time.
