What does this MP stand for?
Three questions for Henk Vermeer.
1. What drives you to serve as an MP?
As a representative, I want to deliver real impact for people in the Netherlands, especially on economic, financial and climate issues.
2. What would you change about the Netherlands?
We should look more closely at the feasibility of policy. Policy must be feasible, affordable and implementable. The same goes for climate policy, which should benefit people, rather than making their lives harder.
3. Who inspires you?
My father. He always stays calm, which enables him to say things that truly hit home. It is a quality that I value deeply and one that I would wish on all my fellow MPs.
