What does this MP stand for?
Three questions for Jimmy Dijk.
1. What drives you to serve as an MP?
I get to speak to lots of different people. Together with residents, I try to improve living and working conditions in neighbourhoods. As an MP, I continue that work.
2. What would you change about the Netherlands?
I want to improve access to healthcare, social security and education. We also need to reduce the gap between rich and poor so that people have equal opportunities.
3. Who inspires you?
Everyone who belongs to the working class and has to work to earn a living, including people who need benefits. They get up every morning and do their best. That gives me the strength to get up every day and fight for them.
