What does this MP stand for?
Three questions for Pepijn van Houwelingen.
1. What drives you to serve as an MP?
The Nexit is where it all started for me. I hope we succeed in getting the Netherlands to leave the European Union.
2. What would you change about the Netherlands?
I personally think that democratisation is very important. I want us to leave the European Union, have a referendum and elect mayors. I push for smaller scale government, instead of constant upscaling.
3. Who inspires you?
There are many books that inspire me. Our party leader, Thierry Baudet, is certainly an inspiration to me. I also look up to people like Pim Fortuyn, who opened up the system.
