What does this MP stand for?
Three questions for Ines Kostić.
1. What drives you to serve as an MP?
I want to show that politicians can genuinely be there for everyone. I want to make the country greener, fairer and kinder to animals.
2. What would you change about the Netherlands?
I am committed to human and animal health. I want to tackle the major polluters of air, water and soil, such as aviation, the fossil fuel industry and intensive livestock farming. Polluters should pay, not ordinary citizens.
3. Who inspires you?
My grandparents. I lived through the war in Bosnia with them and they kept me safe. They also taught me to be brave to stand up against injustice, but also to be hospitable and open to all.
