Biography

"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together"

I started my career in business, but as I learned about more and more injustices and problems in society, I was called to make a change. I entered politics after I came across Volt. It was tremendously inspiring how such a young generation aimed to take politics from the national context and expand it to a European scale.

Cross-border solutions

Today's challenges require cross-border solutions and politicians that connect people across local, national and European contexts. The challenges we face stretch far beyond the borders of our country and can only be met if we work together. It is the only way we have to create a brighter future.

We want to turn the Netherlands and Europe into places where everyone feels at home. We need to make sure that Dutch politicians start seeing Europe as a solution, not a problem, while taking a critical look at whether Europe does actually benefit everyone.

Collaboration

I represent everyone who feels that European collaboration is the key to a brighter future. By looking across national borders, we can turn challenges such as social equality, justice, solidarity and sustainability into opportunities.
